Japanese washi ningyo (paper dolls) are traditional dolls made from a Japanese paper called washi. A simple washi doll can be constructed with a few pieces of paper and a few simple tools.



My kimono sensei started our first lesson with that. She said this simple origami represents a person wearing a kimono.
